Location: Tarragona, Catalonia (Spain) — 41.1187 N, 1.2549 E

Dating: 2nd-1st centuries BC

Characteristics: The site is characterized by an early defensive wall circuit with a megalithic base consisting of large uneven stones. The megalithic base has been described historically as resembling cyclopean stonework of Greece.

Polygonal classification: Similar to Lugli Type I or cyclopean masonry

Attribution: The megalithic and more traditional Roman blocks of the wall are entirely attributed to the Romans depite a much earlier Iberian presence in the region.
