Location: Segni, Lazio (Italy) — 41.6912 N, 13.0224 E
Dating: 10th-5th centuries BC
Characteristics: An acropolis and settlement surrounded by well-preserved fortification walls constructed in polygonal masonry. The most interesting features of the site include large polygonal gates such as the Porta Saracena and numerous posterns. The upper acropolis is topped with a polygonal pedestal which now supports a church. Numerous Roman constructions throughout the site have greatly inferior tuff stonework.

Attribution: The majority of sources attribute the site to the Volsci, an ancient Italic tribe of the Lepini Mountains region.
