Dating: After 273 BC (Roman colonization)
Characteristics: Nearly complete circuit of polygonal masonry fortification walls with square towers. The internal sections of the site have foundations of polygonal masonry, including one wall of the cistern, numerous buildings of the town center, and the city’s capitolium or temple mount. The polygonal walls found throughout the site are constructed with exceptional precision.
